Music Festival 2024

Monday 18th March was the first day of the Shetland Youth Music Festival where both our P4/5 and P6/7 classes participated in. Both classes preformed really well and were great representatives of Cunningsburgh Primary. Well done to all the pupils!

A quick warm up before going on stage for the p4/5s!

SMUHA 24

The 8th March saw the return of SMUHA and we welcomed Jarl Leigh Smith and his impressive squad into the school. The pupils, staff and community members had a fantastic time with the fearsome squad. Jarl Leigh Smith raffled off a replica shield to give away to one lucky winner. Alfie from p7 was delighted to have his name chosen! Our primary 1/2 class had prepared a remix of one of the Jarl’s favorite songs but changed the words, they sang it beautifully! Here’s a link to their song!

After the excitement of the Jarl Squad, we had our very own procession with a hand crafted galley made by our school Janitor, Trevor!
